Abstract

This research is about the role of the quality control team in on Mnc Muslim channel from the perspective of Gatekeeping theory. Every program that will be screened must be through a quality control process, including maintaining the quality of each program on the Mnc Channels. The researcher tried to make observations using the concept of case studies and interviews with source. The purpose of this study was to determine the role of the quality control team on the Mnc Muslim channel from the Gatekeeping theory perspective, because it was listed in the Law number 52 of 2005 concerning paid broadcasting institutions chapter III article 12 b. In this research using interviews with resource persons where researchers also took part in process along with the quality control team who made additional information and experience in the field directly how the process went to completion. Based on the research, the role of quality control team on the Mnc Muslim channel. That the quality control team has an important role in filtering impressions on Mnc Muslim and Mnc Channels in terms of technical and non-technical based on the internal regulations of Mnc Channels and KPI Regulation no. 2 and no. 3 of 2009 (P3SPS) Penelitian ini mengenai Peranan tim quality control di channel Mnc Muslim dari perspektif teori Gatekeeping. Setiap program program yang akan ditayangkan pasti melalui proses quality control, termasuk menjaga mutu pada setiap program di Mnc Channel. Peneliti berusaha melakukan observasi dengan menggunakan konsep studi kasus dan wawancara dengan narasumner. Tujuan penelitian ini mengetahui peranan tim quality control di channel Mnc Muslim dari perspektif teori Gatekeeping, karena sudah tercantum dialam Undang undang nomor 52 tahun 2005 tentang lemabaga penyiaran berbayar BAB III pasal 12 b. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan wawancara dengan narasumber dimana peneliti juga ikut andil bersama Tim quality control yang menjadikan tambahan informasi dan pengalaman dilapangan langsung bagaimana proses tersebut berjalan hingga selesai. Berdasarkan penelitian Peranan tim quality control tayangan di channel Mnc Muslim. Bahwa Tim quality control memiliki peran penting dalam memfilter tayangan tayangan di Mnc Muslim dan Mnc Channels dari segi teknis dan nonteknis berdasarkan peraturan internal Mnc Channels dan Peraturan KPI no. 2 dan no. 3 tahun 2009 (P3SPS)
