Abstract

The selection of appropriate technology for water treatment depends on the quality and type of raw materials as well as the purpose of using treated water. One of the water constructions built in South Sumatra area is Water Treatment Development with BWRO system located in Nursery Air Sugihan District, Baung River of Ogan Komering Ilir Regency. Forest area and acacia tree nursery industry Pulp & Paper PT. Sinarmas Forestry Region Palembang-South Sumatera. With the development of BWRO System aims to overcome the problem of water that can meet the needs of clean water in the area. The concept of water treatment system in the area of Nursery Air Sugihan District is the process of BWRO system that is peat water treatment into clean water. To collect research data, the authors collect data based on the literature and conduct discussions with the competent parties on the project, prepared based on the indicators contained in the research variables. The results showed that peat water treatment technique can only be done through chemical process, sedimentation and filtration. The calculation results on the existing pipeline pipeline capacity is smaller than the planned capacity, Qin <Qout 0.0121 m3 / sec = 12.1 liters / sec <0.0125 m3 / sec = 12.5 lt / sec. The energy loss value is less than the capacity of the pump head plan, the head loss <head plan is 1.5x10-6 m <32 m. So the existing pipeline can not meet the planned capacity requirement of 42.86 m3 / hr. Keywords: Piping System, Material, Water Supply, Water Treatment with BWRO System. Pemilihan teknologi yang tepat untuk pengolahan air sangat bergantung pada kualitas dan jenis bahan baku serta tujuan penggunaan air yang telah diolah. Salah satu bangunan air yang dibangun di daerah Sumatera Selatan adalah Pembangunan Pengolahan Air dengan sistem BWRO berlokasi di Distrik Nursery Air Sugihan, Sungai Baung Kabupaten Ogan Komering Ilir. Kawasan hutan dan pembibitan pohon akasia industri Pulp & Paper PT. Sinarmas Forestry Region Palembang-Sumatera Selatan. Dengan adanya pembangunan Sistem BWRO bertujuan untuk mengatasi masalah air yang dapat memenuhi kebutuhan air bersih pada daerah tersebut. Konsep sistem pengolahan air yang ada di dalam kawasan Distrik Nursery Air Sugihan adalah proses sistem BWRO yaitu pegolahan air gambut menjadi air bersih. Untuk pengumpulan data penelitian, penulis mengumpulkan data berdasarkan literatur dan melakukan diskusi dengan pihak-pihak yang berkompeten pada proyek tersebut, disusun berdasarkan indikator-indikator yang terdapat pada variabel penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa teknik pengolahan air gambut hanya bisa dilakukan melalui proses kimiawi, sedimentasi dan filtrasi. Hasil perhitungan pada jalur pemipaan eksisting kapasitas saluran lebih kecil dari kapasitas rencana, Qin < Qout 0,0121 m3/detik = 12,1 lt/detik < 0,0125 m3/detik = 12,5 lt/detik. Nilai kehilangan energi lebih kecil dari kapasitas head pompa rencana, head loss < head rencana 1,5x10-6 m < 32 m.Sehingga jalur pemipaan eksisting tidak dapat memenuhi kebutuhan kapasitas rencana yaitu 42,86 m3/jam. Kata kunci : Sistem Perpipaan, Material, Air Bersih, Pengolahan Air dengan Sistem BWRO.
