Abstract
This documentary entitled “Kopi Gunung Puntang” at the beginning of the coffee planting here was also not directly responded well by the local community, because they were used to growing vegetables even though it was clearly prohibited by Perhutani, moreover they did not know where to sell coffee harvest later . Until finally the palalangon coffee house was built by one of the local people to buy and accommodate all the coffee from Gunung Puntang until finally the community indirectly wanted to participate to restore the function of the forest as a conservation forest by growing coffee. The author as a Director, uses an exposition type approach that uses Voice Over as a storyteller and resource person statement through interviews with related parties. Genre or type of this documentary film is a portrait of a coffee farmer community group that tells how the beginning of a coffee trip in Gunung Puntang can be as it is today and compares the source of income of the Campakamulya villagers from the vegetable farmers to the coffee farmers. Keywords: Documentary Film, Director, Kopi Gunung Puntang. Film dokumenter yang berjudul “Kopi Gunung Puntang” ini pada awal mulanya penanaman kopi disini juga tidak langsung direspon baik oleh masyarakat setempat, karena mereka sudah terbiasa dengan menanam sayuran walaupun jelas sudah dilarang oleh perhutani terlebih lagi mereka tidak tau kemana harus menjual hasil panen kopi nantinya. Hingga akhirnya dibangun lah rumah kopi Palalangon oleh salah satu masyarakat setempat untuk membeli serta menampung semua hasil kopi dari gunung puntang hingga akhirnya secara tidak langsung masyarakat mau ikut serta untuk mengembalikan fungsi hutan sebagai hutan konservasi dengan menanam kopi. Penulis sebagai sutradara, menggunakan pendekatan tipe eksposisi yang menggunakan Voice Over sebagai penutur cerita serta statement narasumber melalui wawancara dengan pihak-pihak terkait. Genre atau jenis film dokumenter ini yaitu potret kelompok masyarakat petani kopi yang menceritakan bagaimana awal mula perjalanan kopi di gunung puntang sampai bisa seperti sekarang ini serta membandingan sumber pendapatan masyarakat Desa Campakamulya dari yang awalnya petani sayur hingga sekarang menjadi petani kopi.
