Abstract

The purpose of this research aims to know the influence of liquidity, asset structure, and firm size on the capital structure of telecommunication companies listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange. The population in this study of companies listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange. The sampling technique in this research is purposive sampling and the number sample used 5 companies for 6 years that is 2011 – 2016. Statistical method used is multiple linear regression test. The results of this research shows that either simultaneously liquidity variables, asset structure and firm size together significantly influence the capital structure of teelcommunication companies listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange. It has been proven from the result of (F) simoultant test and the result of (t) partial shows that liquidity variables have a negative effect on capital structure, asset structure has no effect on capital structure, while firm size has a positive effect on capital structure. Keywords : capital structure, liquidity, asset structure, firm size Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh likuiditas, struktur asset dan ukuran perusahaan terhadap struktur modal pada perusahaan telekomunikasi yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah perusahaan telekomunikasi yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode purposive sampling dan banyaknya sample yang digunakan 5 perusahaan selama 6 tahun yaitu 2011 – 2016. Metode statistik yang digunakan adalah uji regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa secara simultan variabel likuiditas, struktur asset dan ukuran perusahaan secara bersama - sama berpengaruh signifikan terhadap struktur modal perusahaan telekomunikasi yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Hal ini dibuktikan dari hasil uji simultan (uji F) dan hasil uji parsial (uji t) menunjukkan bahwa variabel likuiditas berpengaruh negatif terhadap struktur modal, struktur asset tidak berpengaruh terhadap struktur modal, sedangkan ukuran perusahaan berpengaruh positif terhadap struktur modal.
