Abstract

This study aims to obtain empirical evidence about the effect of Collateralizable Assets and Investment Opportunity Set to dividend payout ratio. The sample in this research consists of 19 companies selected from 43Consumer Goods sub sector companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange period 2013-2015. Data obtained by using purposive sampling method. The analysis technique used in this research is multiple linear regression test. The results showed that Collateralizable Assets has a negative significant effect on dividend payout ratio (DPR) and investment opportunity set (IOS) has positive significant effect on Dividend Payout Ratio. Keywords:Collateralizable Assets, investment opportunity set (IOS), dividend payout ratio (DPR). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan bukti empiris mengenai pengaruh Collateralizable Assets dan Investment Opportunity Set Terhadap Dividend Payout Ratio. Sampel dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari 19 perusahaan yang dipilih dari 43 perusahaan manufaktur sektor barang konsumsi yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2013-2015. Data diperoleh menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Teknik analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah uji regresi linear berganda Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Collateralizable Assets berpengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap dividend payout ratio (DPR) dan investment opportunity set (IOS) berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadapdividend payout ratio (DPR).
