Abstract

Institute of English courses in the city of Serang started following technological developments, so that all the information regarding programs from course institutions need to be spread through websites. The various obstacles of my experience and vision in the course institution, the information and enrollment of the English course is still conventional and inaccessible via online, thus making the process registration and payments are longer and there are often mistakes writing in the process of data collection. Therefore, author attempt to design and build an Online English Course Registration Application by using a web-based Payment Gateway to create not only accurate and fast information, but also overcome obstacles in terms of archiving. In doing this research, the method is a waterfall method. While implementations and supported software use PHP programming language and CI (Code Igniter) framework with MySQL database. By creating a website regarding online registration information system using this payment gateway, is expected to help students do the registration and payment process accurately and quickly. Lembaga kursus bahasa Inggris di kota Serang saat ini mulai mengikuti perkembangan teknologi, sehingga untuk semua informasi mengenai program-program dari lembaga kursus perlu disebarluaskan melalui website atau situs online. Adapun berbagai kendala dari pengalaman dan penglihatan saya di suatu lembaga kursus, yang mana informasi dan pendaftaran kursus bahasa Inggris masih sederhana dan belum bisa diakses secara online, sehingga membuat proses pendaftaran dan pembayaran menjadi lebih lama dan sering terjadi kesalahan penulisan dalam proses pendataan. Oleh karena itu, dengan ini penulis dalam usaha merancang dan membangun sebuah Aplikasi Pendaftaran Online Kursus Bahasa Inggris dengan menggunakan Payment Gateway berbasis web yang akan menciptakan tidak hanya informasi yang akurat dan cepat, tetapi juga mengatasi kendala-kendala dalam hal pengarsipan. Dalam melakukan penelitian ini, metode pengembangan sistem yang digunakan adalah metode waterfall. Sedangkan implementasi dan perangkat lunak yang mendukung menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP dan framework CI (Code Igniter) dengan database MySQL. Dengan dibuatnya website mengenai sistem informasi pendaftaran online dengan menggunakan payment gateway ini, diharapkan dapat membantu siswa dalam melakukan proses pendaftaran dan pembayaran secara akurat dan cepat.
