Abstract

In a new employee hiring process, PT. ABC must be precise and selective on making decisions, which job applicants must meet all the criteria required by the company. Besides, one of the most difficult stage on hiring process is how to diminish or even eliminate subjectivity from human resources manager's assessment to make the assessment more objective. The purpose of this research is to build a decision support system that can ease the decision making process on new employee hiring process. The method used to build the system is a linier-sequential model called waterfall model. It is a web-based system that uses Simple Additive Weighing method, a method that compares data and calculate scores of the job applicants to determine the prospective ones who meet all the criteria required by PT. ABC. The system is expected to diminish or eliminate subjectivity and quicken the decision making on new employee hiring process. Decision making with old manual system takes longer time and the result is often subjective, but with this new decision support system, the decision making process is expected to be more precise and accurate. Dalam seleksi penerimaan karyawan baru, PT.ABC harus bijak dalam mengambil keputusan, dimana calon karyawan harus sesuai dengan kriteria yang telah ditentukan olehPT.ABC demi tercapainya tujuan perusahaan tersebut, selain itu hal tersulit adalah melakukan penilaian atau seleksi adalah upaya menghilangkan faktor subjektifitasdari manajer personalia agar proses seleksi bersifat objektif. Tujuan dari penilitian ini adalah terciptanya sistem pendukung keputusan yang dapat memudahkan perusahaan dalam pengambilan keputusan untuk penyeleksian calon karyawan. dalam penelitian ini metode sistem pengembangan yang digunakan adalah model sekuensi linier atau biasa disebut model air terjun (Waterfall). sistem yang dirancang berbasis web denganmenggunakan metode Simple Additive Weighting (SAW)bekerja mencocokan data dan menghitung skor calonkaryawan untuk menentukan calon karyawan yang memenuhi kriteria dari PT.ABC. Sistem yang dibangun dapat menghilangkan faktor subjektifitasdan mempercepat pengambilan keputusan dalam tahap penerimaan karyawan baru di PT.ABC. Pengambilan keputusan dengancara manual membutuhkan waktu yang lama dan bersifat subjektif,namun setelah adanya sistem pendukung keputusan ini,pengambilan keputusan lebih cepat, tepat dan akurat. Kata Kunci : Sistem Pendukung Keputusan, Waterfall, Simple Additive Weighting, aplikasi web.
