Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the relationship between competence and motivation of employee performance. The research objects are the employees who work at PT Media Bagus Komunikasi, a company engaged in the event orginizer which based in Tebet, South Jakarta. This research is taken to the 53 respondents by Quantitative Descriptive Approach. Therefore, the data analysis is using statistics analysis in a form of Double Linear Regression Test. Data were processed by using SPSS version 20 for Windows. The result of partial test value (t test) in this study of competence showed positive and significant impact to employee commitment PT Media Bagus Karya. So also for motivation that has a positive and significant impact on employee performance PT Media Bagus Karya. Keywords : Competence, Motivation, Employee Performance Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui kompetensi dan motivasi terhadap kinerja karyawan. Objek penelitian ini adalah karyawan yang bekerja di PT Media Bagus Komunikasi, perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang event orginizer, Jakarta Selatan. Penelitian ini dilakukan terhadap 53 responden dengan pendekatan deskriptif kausal. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis statistik dalam bentuk uji regresi linier berganda. Data diolah dengan menggunakan SPSS versi 20 untuk Windows. Hasil nilai uji parsial (uji t) dalam penelitian ini kompetensi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan PT Media Bagus Komunikasi. Begitu juga untuk motivasi yang berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan PT Media Bagus Komunikasi. Kata kunci : Kompetensi, Motivasi, Kinerja Karyawan
