Abstract

In general, bag is a container for carrying a lot of things in one time with various forms for various needs. At this time the community's need for bags is not only seen in terms of function but also in terms of fashion. Fashion is not only used as a dress, but also as a communication tool to show the personal identity of its users, especially career women. In their need for bags, career women have more specific needs compared to women in general. Both the stuff carried in the bag and the fashion identity generated. So the design of this bag for career women is done to fulfill the two needs in question, namely in terms of function, and the identity of the career woman. Many things need to be considered in this design, then the designer performs data collection methods to obtain maximum analysis results those are functions, aesthetics, technical and economic. From the results of the analysis presentation, the designer sets the original concept for designing this bag for career women. Such as shapes and details that reflect the characteristics of career women who are feminine, independent and firm, a laptop pouch with an adjustment system, compartments that are adapted to stuff carried by career women, even two straps models designed to consider the health of the shoulder muscles of career women. This bag for career women was named Luna Laptop Bag which was accommodated by a brand that was founded by its designer, Truta Indonesia. Keywords: Fashion, Handbags, Career Woman, Laptop Pada umumnya tas merupakan suatu wadah untuk membawa banyak barang dalam satu waktu dengan berbagai bentuk untuk berbagai kebutuhan. Pada zaman ini kebutuhan massal masyarakat terhadap tas tidak hanya dilihat dari segi fungsi namun juga dalam segi fashion. Fashion bukan hanya sebagai busana yang dikenakan saja, namun juga sebagai alat komunikasi untuk menunjukan identitas pribadi penggunanya terutama wanita karir. Dalam kebutuhannya terhadap tas, wanita karir memiliki kebutuhan yang lebih spesifik jika dibandingkan dengan wanita pada umumnya. Baik dari benda-benda yang dibawa dalam tas tersebut maupun identitas fashion yang ditimbulkan. Maka perancangan tas untuk wanita karir ini dilakukan untuk memenuhi kedua kebutuhan tersebut dilihat segi fungsi dan identitas fashion wanita karir tersebut. Banyak hal yang perlu dipertimbangkan dalam perancangan ini untuk itu perancang menggunakan metode pengumpulan data untuk mendapati hasil analisa maksimal yang meliputi fungsi, estetika, teknis maupun ekonomi. Dari hasil perumusan analisa, perancang menetapkan konsep yang orisinil untuk perancangan tas untuk wanita karir ini seperti bentuk dan detail yang mencerminkan karakteristik wanita karir yang feminin, mandiri dan tegas, kantung laptop dengan sistem adjustment, kompartemen yang disesuaikan dengan benda-benda yang dibawa, hingga dua model strap yang didesain dengan mempertimbangkan kesehatan otot bahu wanita karir tersebut. Tas untuk wanita karir ini dikemas dengan nama Luna Laptop Bag yang diwadahi oleh suatu brand yang didirikan oleh perancang sendiri yaitu Truta Indonesia.
