Abstract

The rapid technological developments have had an important influence in various fields. One form of application of technology that can improve the company's performance is information systems. Things that can improve the performance of information systems one of them is the availability of data repository.Implementation of the data repository can be Knowledge warehouse (knowledge warehouse). Knowledge warehouse is a component of knowledge management system where knowledge is developed, stored, organized, processed, and disseminated. The purpose of this research is to fulfill the requirement in providing web application that can be used for storage and searching knowledge, and facilitate knowledge sharing for each employee. Methodology used in this research is waterfall method, model which depict from requirement analysis as the beginning of the process up to the coding and testing at the end of the process. In this research also uses KMP algorithm (Knuth Morris Pratt) is an algorithm used to perform string matching process. The results of this application is a web application that can facilitate the body of assessment and application of technology (BPPT) to share knowledge (knowledge) between employees, store data owned, and make it easier to find the information needed. Keywords: Web application, Knowledge, Knuth Morris Pratt, Mercu Buana University, Agency for Assessment and application of technology (BPPT) Perkembangan teknologi yang sangat pesat memberikan pengaruh penting dalam berbagai bidang. Salah satu bentuk penerapan teknologi yang dapat meningkatkan kinerja perusahaan adalah sistem informasi.Hal yang dapat meningkatkan kinerja sistem informasi salah satunya adalah tersedianya data repository.Implementasi dari data repository dapat berupa Knowledge warehouse (gudang pengetahuan). Knowledge warehouse merupakan komponen sistem manajemen pengetahuan dimana pengetahuan dikembangkan, disimpan, diatur, diproses, dan disebarluaskan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk memenuhi kebutuhan dalam penyediaan aplikasi web yang dapat digunakan untuk penyimpanan dan pencarian pengetahuan (knowledge),serta memudahkan sharing pengetahuan (knowledge) bagi setiap pegawai.Metodologi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode waterfall, model yang menggambarkan dari analisa kebutuhan sebagai awal proses sampai dengan pengkodean dan pengujian diakhir proses. Pada peneltian ini juga menggunakan Algoritma KMP (Knuth Morris Pratt) merupakan algoritma yang digunakan untuk melakukan proses pencocokan string. Hasil dari aplikasi ini adalah sebuah aplikasi web yang dapat memudahkan pihak badan pengkajian dan penerapan teknologi (BPPT) untuk sharing pengetahuan (knowledge) antara sesama pegawai, menyimpan data yang dimiliki, dan memudahkan untuk mencari infomasi yang dibutuhkan. .
