Abstract

Indonesia is one of the countries in Southeast Asia and the largest archipelagic country in the world which consists of 17,504 islands, with a population of nearly 270,054,853 million in 2018 and has 34 provinces including West Java and the capital of West Java Province is Bandung. In a capital city, the Cultural Center is very influential and expected to be able to present the identity and character of a capital city. West Java has a variety of superior cultures and arts that must be maintained and developed through a forum in the form of a place that has facilities that support and have a strong philosophy of West Javanese culture and also keep thinking about good contributions to nature by emphasizing the concept of Green Architecture into the building. Green architecture is applied through a building approach that minimizes harmful effects on human health and the environment. Keywords: West Java, Culture, Architecture, Green Architecture Indonesia adalah salah satu negara di Asia Tenggara serta negara kepulauan terbesar didunia yang terdiri dari 17.504 pulau, dengan populasi hampir 270.054.853 juta jiwa pada tahun 2018 dan memiliki 34 Provinsi diantaranya adalah Jawa Barat dan Ibukota Provinsi Jawa Barat adalah Bandung. Dalam suatu Ibu Kota, Pusat Kebudayaan sangatlah berpengaruh besar dan diharapkan dapat mempresentasikan identitas dan karakter suatu Ibu Kota tersebut. Jawa Barat memiliki beragam jenis kebudayaan dan kesenian unggul yang harus dipertahankan dan dikembangkan melalui sebuah wadah berupa sebuah tempat yang memiliki fasilitas-fasilitas yang mendukung serta memiliki filosofi yang kuat terhadap kebudayaan Jawa Barat dan juga tetap memikirkan kontribusi baik kepada alam dengan menekankan konsep penerapan Arsitektur Hijau ke dalam bangunan. Arsitektur hijau diterapkan melalui pendekatan pada bangunan yang dapat meminimalisir berbagai pengaruh-pengaruh yang membahayakan pada kesehatan manusia dan lingkungan. Kata Kunci: Jawa Barat, Kebudayaan, Arsitektur, Arsitektur Hijau.
