Abstract

ABSTRACT This research aims to know the influance of firm size, financial leverage and Net Profit Margin. The object for this research is manufacturing company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). This research was done to 145 sampel by using quantitative-descriptive approach. Thus, data analysis which is used is statistic analysis in the form of regresion analysis test. The result of this research shows that either simultaneously or partially, the variable of firm size, financial leverage and net profit margin influance income smoothing of the manufacturing company in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). It has been proven from the result of test model regresion shows significant point of three independent variables that supports the hipothesys. There fore, the accepted assumption is, three is influence between firm size, financial leverage and net profit margin to income smoothing of manufacturing company in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). Keywords: firm size, financial leverage, net profit margin (npm), income smoothing ABSTRAK Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh besaran perusahaan, financial leverage dan net profit margin terhadap perataan laba. Objek penelitian ini adalah perusahaan manufaktur yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI). Penelitian ini dilakukan terhadap 145 sampel dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif. Karena itu, analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis statistik dalam bentuk uji analisis regresi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial dan simultan, variabel ukuran perusahaan, financial leverage dan net profit margin berpengaruh terhadap perataan laba pada perusahaan manufaktur yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI). Hal ini dibuktikan dari hasil uji model regresi juga menunjukkan nilai signifikan dari tiga variabel bebas yang mendukung hipotesa. Oleh karena itu hasil uji dari penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa terdapat pengaruh secara simultan antara variabel ukuran perusahaan, financial leverage dan net profit margin terhadap perataan laba pada perusahaan manufaktur yang terdapatdi Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI).
