Abstract

The Influence of Interest and Motivation of Students as well as The Implementation of Cooperative Learning with Student Team Achievement Divisions ( STAD ) Method On Accounting Learning Achievement Vocational Students Siliwangi North Jakarta. Thesis. Jakarta: Master of Accounting, Postgraduate Program of Mercu Buana University Jakarta. One that is important in accounting learning is interest in learning, motivation to learn, and learning model STAD method, because it has an important role in determining the success of students. This research aimed to determine the influence is there any interest in learning, motivation to learn, and STAD method on learning achievement accounting either partially or simultaneously. The population in this research were students of SMK Siliwangi North Jakarta. Samples were taken of the population using convenience sampling methods, namely sampling at any time from members of the population who are available to provide the needed information. The total sample of 75 students. Data collection method used in this research is a questionnaire method. Final data analysis using Multiple Linear Regression. Interest in student learning significantly influence accounting learning achievement. High interest in learning that will encourage students to be more active in learning so that the subject matter can be understood and achievement is reached. Student motivation significantly influence accounting learning achievement. Strong motivation both from within the students themselves as well as from the environment will facilitate student learning in order to achieve the expected learning achievement. STAD method significantly influence accounting learning achievement. This means, if the application of the method STAD continue – constantly carried out in the process of teaching and learning activities that will achieve maximum learning. Students will be easier to learn the subject matter which is given by way of discussion in the group. Therefore it is recommended to cultivate interest in learning, motivation to learn, and learning model STAD method to achieve educational goals that have been determined
