Abstract
Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapatkan bukti secara empiris mengenai pengaruh sales growth dan total asset turnover terhadap dividend payout ratio dengan investment opportunity set sebagai variabel moderating. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah perusahaan manufaktur sektor industri barang konsumsi yang telah terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2013 – 2015. Metode sampling dalam penelitian ini adalah purposive sampling. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini merupakan data sekunder. Metode pengolahan yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi moderasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa sales growth berpengaruh negatif terhadap dividend payout ratio, total asset turnover tidak berpengaruh terhadap dividend payout ratio, dan investment opportunity set tidak memoderasi pengaruh sales growth terhadap dividend payout ratio, sedangkan investment opportunity set memoderasi pengaruh total asset turnover terhadap dividend payout ratio.The purpose of this study to obtain empirical evidence about the influence of sales growth and total asset turnover dividend payout ratio with the investment opportunity set as moderating variable. The population of this study is manufacturing company consumer goods industry sector listed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange period 2013 - 2015. Sampling method in this study is purposive sampling. The data used in this research is secondary data. Processing method used is regression analysis moderate. The results showed that sales growth negatively affect the dividend payout ratio, total asset turnover did not affect the dividend payout ratio, and the investment opportunity set does not moderate the effect of sales growth dividend payout ratio, while investment opportunity set moderating influence of total asset turnover to the dividend payout ratio.
