Abstract
Ketersediaan seamer machine dengan spesifikasi yang minimalis untuk uji coba kaleng yang baru ketersediaanya belum ada di PT United Can Company. Dalam Tugas akhir ini penulis mendesain seamer machine dengan konsep minimalis yang dilengkapi dengan konsep minimalis, spesifikasi yang kecil masih sulit untuk diperoleh dipasar. Disini penulis mendesainn seamer machine dengan spesifikasi tersebut dengan menggunakan metode perancangan VDI 2221. Dari hasil perhitungan desain maka didapat spesifikasi mesin sebagai berikut: Dimensi alat PxLxT (400x550x1535)mm, Machine Weight ±200 kg. Motor 0.5 HP (0.375 kW),Table size PxLxT (400x500x20), Torsi motor 259,226 Nm, Torsi poros 370,322 Nm.
