Abstract

ABSTRACT This research was about the impact on profitability murabahah with study cases of BNI-Sharia Business Unit. The purpose of this research how to know the role of sharia financing trading on profits in the period 2006 to 2008 and whether the impact of margin improvement murabahah on the level of profitability, which can be seen from the large profits and profitability ratios murabaha generated. This research uses descriptive qualitative and quantitative methods. The result of this research will be showing showing where murabahah is the only type of financing that has been selling Sharia implemented in IT (Science Technology) of BNI-Sharia Business Unit. Murabahah role is very important to the growth of profitability, along with the profits/margins resulting from financing the sale and purchase. If the financing on the basis of buying and selling increase in net profit at BNI-Sharia Business Unit will also increase. Impact murabahah margin improvement resulted in reduced level of profitability ratio.
