Abstract

ABSTRACT This study analyzes the influence of the traditional approach to accounting and economic value added (EVA) on stock returns of manufacturing firms in Indonesia Stock Exchange. The sample used was an active manufacturing companies in Indonesia Stock Exchange trading of the year 2007-2008. Analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS 15. The study uses the dependent variable Return the stock, while the independent variable is Return on Assets, Return on Equity, and Economic Value Added. From the research results obtained that the variable Return on Assets , Return on Equity, and Economic Value Added at once the results are shown any effect on the Return of shares in manufacturing companies in Indonesia Stock Exchange on 5% level.
