Abstract

ABSTRACT Lalu Yusuf Kurniawan. Mercu Buana University. March 2010 ”The Effect of Economic Value Added (EVA) toward Stock Return on PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk. The background of this research was stock price in capital market was influenced by many factors, the one of financial performance. Currently concept of financial performance was used traditionally financial performance. Because the financial performance was not enough accurate to explain performance company. So it is important to use economic value added in evaluating company performance before deciding to invest a company stock. Therefore, its important to examine relationship between EVA and stock price The objectives of this research were to identify the effect of economic value added on stock return. To find the impact of economic value added on stock return and what factors influencing it, the author used simple linear regression analysis, hypothesis test and classical assumption test methods. The data used in this research were secondary data gathered from Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX).
