Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh variabel pengembangan karir dan variabel kompensasi terhadap variabel motivasi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode survey deskriptif, yaitu metode yang menggambarkan keadaan atau kejadian pada saat melakukan penelitian dengan mencatat dan menganalisa yang kemudian ditarik kesimpulan. Untuk memperoleh data dalam penelitian, teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik stratified random sampling. Karena populasinya heterogen. Dalam hal ini penulis mengambil sampel melalui tingkat pendidikan. Instrument yang digunakan berupa penyebaran angket, wawancara, dan pengamatan. Kemudian data yang diperoleh di uji secara kuantitatif melalui media SPSS 20 untuk membuktikan hipotesis yang dibuat. Dari hasil analisis data ditemukan bahwa pengembangan karir berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap motivasi. Disamping itu, kompensasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap motivasi. Kata Kunci: Pengembangan Karir, Kompensasi dan Motivasi This study aimed to examine the influence of career development variables and variable compensation to variable motivation. The method used in this study is a descriptive survey method, a method that describes the circumstances or events during the study by recording and analyzing the conclusions are then drawn. To obtain the data in the study, Sampling technique using stratified random sampling technique. Because the population is heterogeneous. In this case I took the sample through the levels of education. Instruments used in the form of questionnaire, interviews, and observations. Then the data obtained in the test media quantitatively through SPSS 20 to prove the hypothesis made. From the analysis of the data found that career development and a significant positive effect on motivation. In addition, compensation and significant positive effect on motivation.
