Abstract

The phenomenon which becomes the object of the research is the less of the products selling of AXA Mandiri. This research intent for analyses and confirmation increase motives, traits, self concept, knowledge, and skills competencies of communication Telesales Officers to sell AXA Mandiri’s products, and to analyse the increase of explanation Telesales Officers competencies to sell AXA Mandiri’s products. Conducts a survey of 50 Telesales Officers respondents at the head office of AXA Tower Jakarta that determined by quota's approaching sampling, or sample determination with percentage level. Data collecting utilizes questionnaire technic research, interview, and study bibliography. Data processing primary to utilize analyses quantitative and qualitative method. The study result gotten by conclusion as follows : Firstly, Result tests regression point out that the influences of motives, traits, self-concept, knowledge, and skills variables to product selling variable get positive character, which mean if those variables increasingly together, then the increase itself will make the increase of product selling variable. Secondly, The increase of explanation Telesales Officers competencies to product selling of AXA Mandirishowed by motives get 0,572, traits get 0,291, self-concept get 0,591, knowledge get 0,273, and skills get 0,582. Thirdly, variables of motives, traits, self-concept, knowledge, and skills are the factors of Telesales Officers communication competencies to increase product selling of AXA Mandiri.=== Fenomena yang diangkat menjadi obyek penelitian adalah belum optimalnya tingkat pencapaian Penjualan Produk AXA Mandiri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mengkonfirmasikan tingkat kompetensi komunikasi motives, traits, self-concept, knowledge, dan skills Telesales Officers terhadap penjualan produk AXA Mandiri, serta menganalisis besarnya eksplanasi kompetensi Telesales Officers terhadap penjualan produk AXA Mandiri. Sampel Penelitian sebanyak 50 responden Telesales Officers di kantor pusat AXA Tower Jakarta yang ditentukan dengan pendekatan quota sampling, atau penentuan sampel dengan taraf persentase. Pengumpulan data menggunakan Teknik Kuesioner Penelitian, Wawancara, dan Studi Kepustakaan. Pengolahan data primer menggunakan Metode Analisis Kuantitatif dan Kualitatif. Dari pembahasan hasil penelitian diperoleh kesimpulan sebagai berikut : Pertama, Hasil uji regresi menunjukkan bahwa pengaruh variabel motives, traits, selfconcept, knowledge, dan skills terhadap variabel penjualan produk bersifat positif, artinya apabila variabel-variabel tersebut secara bersama-sama mengalami peningkatan, maka peningkatan tersebut akan diimbangi dengan peningkatan pada variabel penjualan produk. Kedua, Besarnya eksplanasi kompetensi Telesales Officers terhadap penjualan produk AXA Mandiri, di jelaskan oleh motives sebesar 0,572, traits sebesar 0,291, self-concept sebesar 0,591, knowledge sebesar 0,273, dan skills sebesar 0,582. Ketiga, Bahwa variabel motives, traits, selfconcept, knowledge, dan skills adalah merupakan faktor-faktor kompetensi komunikasi Telesales Officers dalam meningkatkan penjualan produk AXA Mandiri.
