Abstract

Loyalitas Tertanggung di dalam dunia asuransi ditentukan oleh kualitas pelayanan, yang salah satunya adalah seberapa cepatnya proses dalam produksi polis mulai dari approval hingga diterima oleh Tertanggung, namun tanpa mengurangi kualitas isi schedule dari polis tersebut. Permasalahan mulai timbul saat volume permintaan penutupan polis naik secara signifikan namun disertai dengan minimnya jumlah sumber daya manusia dan infrastruktur yang tersedia, selain itu sebagian besar proses kerja sebagian besar masih manual dan sistemnya belum terupdate. Salah satu rumusan yang dihasilkan berdasarkan keputusan manajemen adalah mengurangi proses kerja secara manual dan melakukan lebih banyak automatisasi pada sistem, sehingga bukan hanya menjadikan proses lebih cepat namun adanya efisiensi pada waktu, penghematan biaya dan efektivitas dalam penggunaan sumber daya yang tersedia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui : pengaruh automatisasi sistem terhadap kualitas dan kuantitas penutupan polis, kemudian pengaruh pada jumlah sumber daya manusia di Policy Service dan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pada service level aggreement pasca implementasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan di departemen Policy Service PT ZII dengan ruang lingkup pada automatisasi sistem penutupan polis menggunakan data dari awal 2012 hingga 2013. Pendekatan penelitian secara Deskriptif, Ex-Post Facto serta eksperimen secara trial and error pada testing screen. Jenis data yang digunakan Kuantitatif dengan pendekatan Induktif dan dipergunakan alat analisis Quality function deployment. Data diuji selain menggunakan uji klasik juga menerapkan uji Pearson, Regresi Linear dan Uji F. Kata kunci : Asuransi, Automatisasi sistem, . The Insured loyalty in insurance business is determined by the quality of service, one of the example is how fast the policy will be process by the Insurer, from the approval process into the production until be accepted by the Insured, but without reduce the quality of the policy schedule. The problems began to arise when the demand volume increased significantly for the closure but with the low resource of the employees and the available infrastructures, other than that most of the work process is still largely manual and the system has not been updated. One of the management decisions is to reduce manual work processes and do more automation in the system, not only it will makes the process more faster, but will giving time efficiency, cost savings and effectiveness in use of available resources. The research aimed to determine : the effect of the automation system to the quality and quantity of the policy, afterward the effect on the number of human resources in the Policy Service, and the effect on service level aggreement post-implementation. This research was conducted in the Policy Service at PT ZII with the scope of policy automation system using the data from the beginning of year 2012 until the end of year 2013. The approach for this research are Descriptive, Ex-Post Facto and experimentation by trial-and-error on the testing screen. Quantitative data types used with inductive approach and analysis tools used Quality function deployment. Data were tested not only by classic assumption test but also apply with Pearson test, Linear Regression and F-test.
