Abstract

Smoking habit in Indonesia really need concern. Every single one from our society can see student smoke in public place. Currently young people who think that if he/she does not smoke, it is something that not cool and not dashing, even there is assumption that if young people do not smoke, it is effeminate. There are a lot of factors that can affect young people who do not smoke to be a smoker. One of the factors is stimulus from his/her friend around his/her environment. Writer want to see there is decreasing percentage smoker from young generation, writer has concern with this matter. Because of that, writer has initiative to change mindset of young generation in Indonesia to be better. Graphic socialization media is media which can be a tool to help young generation to understand that smoke will destroy himself/herself. Keyword: young people, environment stimulus, social activity, appeal. Kebiasaan merokok di Indonesia sangat memprihatinkan. Setiap saat kita dapat menjumpai anggota masyarakat dari berbagai usia, termasuk pelajar merokok di tempat-tempat umum. Saat Ini banyak anak muda yang beranggapan bahwa jika ia tidak merokok itu “GAK GAUL, GAK MACHO, GAK KEREN, bahkan adapula yang menyatakan jika anak muda tidak merokok itu “BANCI”. Banyak sekali faktor yang mempengaruhi seorang anak muda yang tidak merokok menjadi seorang perokok aktif. salah satunya melalui ajakan teman-temannya ketika ia bergaul di lingkungan sekitarnya. Melihat hal tersebut penulis sangat ingin agar berkurangnya angka perokok di kalangan Generasi muda, penulis sangatlah prihatin atas generasi muda ini, Oleh karena itu penulis berinisiatif untuk merubah pola pikir generasi muda Indonesia saat ini menjadi lebih baik. Media sosialisasi grafis merupakan media yang dapat digunakan sebagai alat protes untuk menjauhi rokok. semoga generasi muda bangsa ini semakin sadar bahwa dengan merokok bukanlah menjadikan mereka itu GAUL, MACHO ataupun KEREN. Tetapi hanyalah untuk merugikan dirinya sendiri bahkan juga merugikan orang lain. Kata kunci: anak muda, pengaruh lingkungan, kegiatan sosial, himbauan.
