Abstract

Dalam TA ini penulis melakukan analisa pemipaan pada proyek Pilot Plant. Sebelum dilakukan analisa, perlu dilakukan pemodelan terlebih dahulu agar diketahui letak-letak support yang diperlukan. Pipa uap (steam) ini beroperasi pada suhu 291°F dan suhu 329°F. Memiliki empat (4) ukuran pipa dari yang terbesar 6” dan yang terkecil 2”. Pipa ini membentang dari ketinggian 6.860mm turun menuju ketinggian 1.500mm. Penulis melakukan perhitungan sustained load yaitu beban yang terjadi terus menerus selama beroperasi dan thermal load yaitu beban yang diakibatkan oleh beban panas fluida pada pipa uap. Pada perhitungan thermal load di gunakan agar tegangan pipa tidak sampai mengakibatkan pipa tersebut patah atau menabrak pipa lainya. Dari perhitungan analisa ini didapat hasil sebagai berikut : 1. Segment 1, Sustained Load dan Thermal Load < Allowable Stress 2. Segment 2, Sustained Load dan Thermal Load < Allowable Stress 3. Segment 3, Sustained Load dan Thermal Load < Allowable Stress
